My 80-year-old mother had her first accident a few weeks ago in her 1992 Honda Accord.  We were referred to your shop by a friend of hers who had 2 previous good experiences with you.  I want you to know that our experience with Cory (Haagenson) was far beyond our expectations from start to finish.  The damage estimate to the car was approximately $2,200, which in essence made it a total loss.  Because the car is in unusually good condition despite its age and we knew we could not find a comparable replacement, we talked with Cory about our desire to have the car repaired at our expense for whatever the insurance would not cover.  Assuming my mom will be driving for a few more years and considering her limited income, we wanted to return it to safe drivable condition, but not necessarily like-new condition.  Cory understood perfectly.  He worked seamlessly between us and the insurance company, researched non-factory replacement parts, walked me thru the damage on the car. and gave us a detailed estimate of his recommended repairs (including computer graphics of each part).  At no time did he try to up-sell any part of the repair – he really “got it” and had our interests at heart.  He called with me with updates on the repair status throughout the next week and when I picked up the car it was exactly what we wanted.

 

Not done yet.  As I was driving it to mom’s house, I noticed the air conditioner was not working properly.  Not knowing whether it was accident-related or not, mom brought it back to Cory a couple days later.  He quickly determined it was not related to the accident, but instead of just pointing her to the a/c repair shop next to you, he walked her over there, introduced her to a repairman he knew, stayed with her while they did a quick assessment and called me with the status before returning to your shop.  I work in downtown Minneapolis – he saved me 2-3 hours by going those extra steps to help her.

 

The customer service he provided throughout this entire experience was EXCEPTIONAL.  As long as Cory is there, my family and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.  Please pass along my sincere thanks to him.

I know that you are a busy executive as well, but I insisted that I take a pause in my schedule to let you know about the superb service that I received from one of your auto collision/auto glass establishments that I recently used for the repair of my Lexus.  When my insurance company suggested that I consider using ABRA to repair my car, I was a little apprehensive.  First of all, only the folks at the Lexus Dealership have ever touched my car for needed maintenance and repairs.  I knew that you offered glass replacement but not collision repair and certainly not for luxury cars.  However, after meeting with Mr. Michael Dressel, I was so taken back by his level of professionalism that I left my car in his hands with confidence that everything we discussed would be handled to my satisfaction. 

 

How did this occur? Even though your shop was extremely busy at the time, everyone there was very cordial and assured me that I was a priority and that Michael was to be my adjuster and would be with me shortly.  In fact, Michael knew I was waiting so he came around the corner just to introduce himself and to let me know that he was just finishing up on his last customer and would be with me as soon as he placed his “rubber stamp” on his last customer’s paperwork.  Even though I was waiting, and like you – my time is very valuable, I felt as if I was already being taken care of, especially when I was handed an ice cold cup of H20.  You know, it is these sorts of simple things that take little effort but demonstrate to a customer that he/she is important to them.

 

Michael was my representative; he explained up front what ABRA’s capabilities were and thoroughly examined the damage to my car and asked me all the important questions.  By the time I left the keys with him to get my rental car (they had already called Enterprise for me) – I left knowing that my Lexus was going to be cared for by professionals.  I knew exactly what repairs were going to be made, with what kind of materials, and the methodology to get best results.  I certainly felt that Michael was my advocate which is way above the norm when one finds himself in this position.  Of course, time would tell the final result.

 

I was called by Michael himself and his staff on several occasions. I was actually given updates on my car, what phase of repair, any problems, and updates on anticipated completion.  It was ready when promised, after passing all your phases of inspection for quality and work and lifetime guarantees.  In short, the car looked fantastic when I picked it up.  I actually did a double take when I first saw it to make sure that it displayed the discreet GT emblem on the rear.  They had delivered; every detail was handled just as we reviewed beyond my expectation. Michael reviewed what they had done to the car, inquired as to any questions, concerns, etc., handed me my keys and I felt as if I was driving a new Lexus. 

 

Now that is A+ service and certainly worth noting.  I wanted you to know how pleased I am with ABRA; the shop in Cumming Georgia (965 Market Place Blvd), the technicians behind the scenes who did all the work, and especially the expertise of Michael Dressel.  A+ service all the way.

Good morning.  I recently has some work done at the Eden Prairie facility and was quite impressed with how the customer service manager (Jessie Buhr) handled the work. When I dropped off my vehicle, I had requested some other work to be done on the vehicle (outside of the claim).  It was about the time that the job was almost complete, when I received a call from Jesse.  He proceeded to tell me that one part of the non-claim work was previously done by ABRA and that is was a warranty item and there would be no charge.  This work was from an accident we had about 4 years earlier.  In all honesty, I would have never put 2 and 2 together and it would have been easy for him to charge to full amount and no one would have known. 

 

This type of integrity in very hard to come by these days.  I venture to guess that unfortunately many other places would not have handled this situation the same way.  I commend you and them for running such a stand-up place.  I walked away extremely impressed and knew that this was extraordinary.  This is why I am contacting you.  We are very quick to complain about things these days and not so quick to express our gratitude.  You should be proud of the people you have working for you at this facility. My name is Mark Sawyer and I had the misfortune of being hit head on as a result of one of the snow storms we’ve had in the recent weeks. I was not at-fault and the at-fault’s insurance company offered me several body shops to choose from. I chose ABRA in Hixson for no particular reason. Not being familiar with many repair facilities in the area I had no idea what to expect. I must admit I wasn’t overly optimistic as I am very particular when it comes to my vehicles and I didn’t expect to be satisfied with a vehicle that had been quite damaged.

 

I had stopped by after picking up my rental car to inform ABRA that I had been instructed by my insurance company to give them the details of my incident and my car’s whereabouts. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and told me not to worry about a thing, that everything would be taken care of. Upon leaving I did feel slightly better about the whole situation.

 

Much to my surprise I got a phone call first thing the following morning from ABRA, my apologies for not remembering the young lady’s name (she was always very nice), but she was calling to inform me of my car’s status and plans for that day. Not only did it happen that morning but every single morning during my entire vehicle’s repair process, that was a huge benefit to me as I wasn’t left out in the cold as to what was going on with my vehicle.

 

My initial contact was with Dale, the customer service manager…he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I felt completely confident in his ability to get me taken care of. He listened to me for as long as I wanted to talk, and even if he wasn’t genuinely concerned with what I had to say he should win an Oscar for his ability to portray that to me.

 

My car was done in a very satisfactory amount of time (sooner than I expected) and the job was completed better than I expected. There was one small problem that arose after I picked the car up, a problem that wouldn’t have been evident to the naked eye. I was concerned at this point about how any further repairs would be addressed since I had picked up the car and signed off on the work. The air intake tube had been damaged in the accident which was visible but the mass air sensor appeared to be fine so it wasn’t replaced. 3 days after picking up my car it threw a code, I stopped and had it scanned and the code was a “lean” code.

 

Upon finding out about the code I went back to ABRA and that was when I met Joey. That guy sat there and listened to me forever, then he conversed with me to come up with a solution to the problem. I’m in outside sales and I CANNOT be without a vehicle…he himself called my insurance company and arranged a rental car, sent my car to be diagnosed thoroughly, followed up on numerous occasions personally, and had my car back immediately. I was concerned about having to pay for the rental car since it had to be proven that the damage to the mass air sensor was a result of the accident. I never had to lift a finger. Joey made numerous phone calls as I waited and made sure that I wouldn’t have to pay a penny and that I was completely taken care of.

 

I know that most of the time when you get letters from customers that they’re probably not to give praise but rather to complain. I myself am guilty of not pointing out the good but am quick to complain about the bad. I felt compelled to write you this letter to tell you that EVERYBODY at the Hixson store was a complete pleasure to work with. I was astonished at the quality of service in every aspect…I will recommend ABRA to every single person I can in the future with complete confidence. Please give the entire staff all the praise they deserve, they’ve more than earned it!

This Christmas 2009 I found myself the victim of a hit and run accident involving my 2001 Toyota Camry.  Seeing the side of my car scraped, dented, and ruined left me feeling very upset and distraught. I have never been in any kind of an accident before, let alone a hit and run.  I contacted my local police and my insurance company immediately.  I was pleasantly surprised to find I was dealt with in a kind and expedient manner by both groups.  Once the initial shock had set in and I realized I would need to have my car repaired, I was greatly concerned about the service, work, and hassle I would now be facing.  The insurance rep made an appointment for me at ABRA Auto Body & Glass in Westminster, Colorado.  A rental car would be waiting for me at the shop.

Expecting the worst, I arrived at my scheduled time at the body shop and was greeted politely by my insurance rep.  He was extremely professional and courteous, and took his time examining the car and damage, taking photographs that I later would find uploaded conveniently to their website.  He thoroughly explained the process, the costs, the estimated time to repair the damage, and the policy regarding all work performed.  He then introduced me to Randy Koch from ABRA who continued to inspect the car and explain the process.

Each step of the process I felt well informed about what was happening and what to expect next.  With great ease I rented the car from Enterprise, and waited for my car to be repaired.  I would like to mention that the car rental rep was also extremely professional, courteous, and helpful. 

Right on time, as discussed, my car was ready for pick up.  The repairs were perfect and the car looked as if it had never been so heinously attacked by a rude and careless driver.  The car had been washed, cleaned, and made to look just lovely; I was very pleased to say the least. Mr. Koch walked me through all the repair work done, what they were able to do to restore the car, and how to keep certain items in mind when washing the car the next 90 days.

Thanks to the friendly, helpful, and professional manner my repair work was handled I felt a horrible event had a pleasant resolution.

The Westminster Fire Department stopped by Abra Auto Body to say thank you for their support of a charitable project.
 

The Westminster Fire Department stopped by Abra Auto Body & Glass, 9100 Pierce St., to express appreciation of their support for a unique charitable project. Westminster firefighter Eric Roth had the idea of giving old fire hydrants a second life - selling them as memorabilia to raise funds for the Westminster Firefighter's Fire Victims Benefit Fund. He arranged for the City to donate the obsolete hydrants to the charitable foundation and with the help of fellow firefighters JC Engdahl and Dave Sagel, hauled them around to be sandblasted, repainted, and auctioned off. Abra Auto Body was kind enough to donate the repainting of the hydrants.

The Westminster Firefighter's Fire Victims Benefit Fund was established in 1983 with the primary goal of providing immediate financial assistance to victims of fire in our community. Of the 8 re-furbished hydrants, five have already been purchased -- raising about $800 for the charity. Several hydrants were enhanced with a water feature to be used as yard décor. The remaining hydrants are for sale; $150 for a plain hydrant, $250 for the water feature.

Dear Steve: 

I am sending you a quick note to tell you how completely satisfied I am with the service you provided on a recent visit to your store. My expectations were exceeded and I wanted to share that with you. I have a l998 Grand Prix which runs well and is in good condition. However, the headlight assembly plastic was fogged up given the years of exposure to salt, sand and everything else found on the roads. I had been considering replacing the headlights after the buffing kit I bought did not do the trick. It was getting dangerous to drive as the light was not penetrating the fogging. I even considered buying a new car when I was told by the dealership they were about $500 each to replace.

 I was skeptical that anything could be done that was a reasonable cost on a car that is now 11 years old, but you changed that impression. Here’s how my experience went. I drove in and was greeted by the receptionist. She asked me my name and shook my hand all with a nice smile. She immediately found someone to look at my headlights. When the original person she sought out was not available she asked you to help me. After I explained I didn’t want to spend $1,000 on new headlights, you brought me into your office and told me about aftermarket lights. You called a used car parts dealer and found they had some on hand for $74 each. I asked if you could replace them, and you quoted me a fair price of $40. I went to get them and quickly returned in about one-half hour, and immediately the receptionist found someone to install them. She immediately went to pull the car into the shop. My 10-year-old daughter and I went outside to peek in the shop, and a women greeted us with a warm smile and asked if we needed help. I hold her why we were there and she stated, “Just wanted to make sure you were taken care of”.  When the job was done the receptionist was ready for a quick checkout. You popped your head out of the office to ensure the lights had been aligned properly – which they had. I left feeling so good about the entire process. 

I shared this story with my wife because I was so impressed. My headlights work great and I can safely drive at night again. This experience was great, but what prompted me to write this letter was your note I received as a follow-up in the mail today. First class! Rest assured, I will use your company again and will definitely refer anyone I know who may be seeking any type of body work. You won me as a lifetime customer. Simply put…you made my day. I’m a raving fan.
