David Crittenden is Abra General Counsel & Secretary. He joined Abra in 2017. He began his career in private legal practice – most recently as a partner in a New York City law firm where he practiced for over 16 years. Representing domestic and international clients, he focused on corporate risk mitigation, litigation, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance and advocacy in highly regulated industries.

In 2014, David joined private equity-owned vRide, where, in addition to his legal responsibilities, he led the company’s Risk Management department. There, he was instrumental in protecting the company by minimizing and managing risk through detailed oversight, strategic planning, and effective interdepartmental communication.

David studied business and quantitative analysis at Colby College, and received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
