COMMUNITY | April 17, 2018
Abra has a long history of giving in every community where we operate. In 2018, Abra is focusing squarely on supporting Veterans and their families. To that end, Abra has committed to provide transportation, job placement, and to work with Veterans in our local community to provide housing to those in need.
Abra is working with the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides™ Program to identify Veterans and families in need of transportation. In partnership with our sponsors, our mission is to restore and donate 16 vehicles in 2018 to Veterans and families in need.
Together with Habitat for Humanity, Abra team members and Veterans are working together to help tackle homelessness in the communities where we serve.
Abra’s goal is to provide training and job placement for Veterans who are transitioning to civilian life. Abra is working to connect military veterans and spouses to our recruiting team, who determine interests and training needed to place individuals in the right positions. Our ACES on-the-job training program provides complete training for Veterans to enter the fields of Customer Service, Estimating, and Body Tech Apprentice.
Abra’s goal is to create a local and national impact in the lives of Veterans and their families, who have sacrificed so much to preserve and safeguard our freedoms, because we are Auto Body Repair of America.
